Unleash your creativity and join us for a fun evening of creating your own signature soy candles with local candle maker (Burnt at Both Ends Candle Co.)! In this class, you’ll be making TWO candles; one 10 oz. jar candle and one 7 oz. candle tin of the same scent. Keep both or give one as a gift!
For the 10 oz. candle, you will get to choose a white, black or red jar. You’ll get the opportunity to create your own holiday scent combination, add a festive label, and pick your candle lid. For the 7 oz. silver candle tin you will use the same holiday scent combination you created and add a festive label. While you work on both candles you will learn the tips, tricks and basics of candle making. You will also learn candle care tips to make sure your beautiful and unique creations last as long as possible.
After pouring your candles, it will take 1-1.5 hours for the wax to harden. This will be a great time to enjoy great conversation, beverages, dessert, shop, and learn a little bit more about candles!
Please note, for the strongest scent, your candle will need to cure 1-2 weeks prior to lighting it.
This is an instructor-led class by Heather Joslin, Owner of Burnt at Both Ends Candle Co. Hosted by La Vie Est Belle.
Event is Tuesday (December 10th), 6 - 8 pm at the store.
$65 Registration Fee includes all candle-making supplies for two candles, instruction, dessert, and drinks.
Minimum Age to Participate: Ages 12 and up welcome. We kindly ask that younger participants are accompanied by an adult.
Minimum Registrations: To hold event, we require a minimum of 6 registrations. If we cancel due to minimal registrations, we will contact you within 48 hours of the class and work to either reschedule or offer you a 100% refund.
Cancellation/Rescheduling Details: Up to one week prior to event: 90% refund for cancellation (or) reschedule for no additional fee. Less than one week we are unable to provide a refund for cancellation due to the nature of the class and materials already purchased. If cancellation due to weather, we will reschedule.
Dessert and drinks (wine, pop and water) provided. Beverages provided by Village Wine & Spirits.
