12/04/24 Morsels Holiday Cookie Platter Decorating Class

Interested in learning more about decorated sugar cookies?! Morsels is here to help! In this 1.5ish hour-ish class, we'll cover the basics of sugar cookies (so – yes, it’s beginner friendly!), do some piping practice with Royal Icing, talk about how to strategize the best ways to decorate sugar cookies, and cover the general concepts around dough and icing! Everything you'll need is provided in class along with a live in-person instructor – just bring a smile.

We’ll enjoy learning how to complete this Holiday platter in a 1.5 hour+ cookie decorating class! Don’t miss out on this fun 6+ cookies, 4-icing class – “Yule” love this class! 1 cutout, 6 designs! 

This class is for the beginner cookier or for the person who is just curious about what cookie decorating is all about! If you have limited experience with sugar cookies, found yourself frustrated with royal icing, or if you're trying to have fun with family or friends, this is the class for you! 

Morsels will provide everything you will need from cookies, icing, and a box to take your amazing creations home in - we just need YOU! Each to-be-baker will get a chance to enjoy some fun seasonal favorites - 6.5 cookies, 4 icing colors, and all the tools necessary to knock this cookie class out of the park! Everything is prepped right before class – so no baking or icing mixing required. Just decorate!

You'll leave class with a great understanding of the basics of sugar cookies plus a few cool techniques we'll cover in class! 

Highlighted techniques included with this class: wet on wet, edible marker use, and scribe use for designs. (Techniques that can easily be re-created to elevate your holiday cookie platters.) 

**Option to purchase an add-on kits! The kits are great for kids at home, for you to try your skills again, OR to make and share at your next holiday party. Day and Time of Event: Wednesday (12/4), 6 - 8 pm

$50 Registration Fee includes all cookie decorating supplies, instruction, beverages provided by Village Wine & Spirits, & dessert by Morsels.  

Instructor-Led Class by Heather McGruder, owner of locally based Morsels. Class hosted by La Vie Est Belle.

Minimum Age to Participate: Ages 12 and up welcome. We kindly ask that younger participants are accompanied by an adult.

Minimum Registrations: To hold event, we require a minimum of 6 registrations. If we cancel due to minimal registrations, we will contact you within 48 hours of the class and work to either reschedule or offer you a 100% refund.

Maximum Registrations: 10 is a full class. If the class is full, please email us at hello@shoplavie.co to be added to a wait list. We may explore adding additional seats to this class or we will happily explore opening another class.

Cancellation/Rescheduling Details: Up to one week prior to event: 90% refund for cancellation (or) reschedule for no additional fee. Less than one week we are unable to provide a refund for cancellation due to the nature of the class and materials already purchased. If cancellation due to weather, we will reschedule.
