Unleash your creativity and join us for a fun evening of creating your own signature soy candle in a pumpkin glass jar with local candle maker (Burnt at Both Ends Candle Co.)!
You’ll be making one 9 oz. 3-wick amber pumpkin jar with lid. You’ll get the opportunity to create your own scent combination and learn about the basics of candle making. We will also cover candle care tips to make sure your beautiful and unique creation lasts as long as possible.
After pouring your candle, it will take 1-1.5 hours for the wax to harden. This will be a great time to enjoy great conversation, beverages, dessert, shop, and learn a little bit more about candles!
Please note, for the strongest scent, your candle will need to cure 1-2 weeks prior to lighting it.
This is an instructor-led class by Heather Joslin, Owner of Burnt at Both Ends Candle Co. Hosted by La Vie Est Belle.
Event is Thursday (October 1st), 6 - 8 pm at our Hudson, WI store.
$60 Registration Fee includes all candle-making supplies for one candle, instruction, dessert, and drinks.
Minimum Age to Participate: Ages 12 and up welcome. We kindly ask that younger participants are accompanied by an adult.
Minimum Registrations: To hold event, we require a minimum of 6 registrations. If we cancel due to minimal registrations, we will contact you within 48 hours of the class and work to either reschedule or offer you a 100% refund.
Cancellation/Rescheduling Details: Up to one week prior to event: 90% refund for cancellation (or) reschedule for no additional fee. Less than one week we are unable to provide a refund for cancellation due to the nature of the class and materials already purchased. If cancellation due to weather, we will reschedule.
Complimentary dessert provided by local pastry chef, Heather McGruder, owner of Morsels. Drinks provided by So What Wine (owner and MN Master of Wine, Ashley Hausen Lohmer) or Village Wine and Spirits (owned by Allison Bahr). Gluten-free options provided.
