09/24/26 Unplug + Create Night: Create Your Own Mosaic Candle Holder

Not one person signs up for this class because they’re “artsy.”  You come because…

You’re tired of the constant to-do list running laps in your head.  You’re tired of feeling like you’re standing in front of a fire hose… just trying to keep up.  You can’t remember the last time you just sat in a moment and were actually there for it.

So, you start craving something different.  A pause.  This is your pause.

For a few hours, join Brittany Williams (Midwest Collective) to unplug, create something with your hands, make new connections, and just… be.

You’ll create your own mosaic candle holder using glass, beads, glue, and grout—and leave with something you’ll actually use (and be proud of).

Brittany will guide you through everything step-by-step, so no experience needed (truly).

All supplies are included - you just show up. :)

Event is Sept. 24th (Thursday) 5:30 - 8:30 pm at our Lake Elmo store. Class will be hosted in our adorable and cozy event or gathering space in the back.  If the weather is nice, it is possible that the class may be hosted on our front deck - please dress accordingly.

This is an instructor-led class, taught by local artist, Brittany Williams (owner of Midwest Collective).

$65 Registration Fee:  Registration fee helps cover all materials/supplies along with instructor’s time.  Includes handcrafted desserts by Morsels (local pastry chef) and wine provided by the only Master of Wine in the state of MN, Ashley Hausman Lohmer, owner of So What Wine or Lake Elmo favorite woman-owned, Village Wine and Spirits.

Minimum Age to Participate: Ages 12 and up welcome. We kindly ask that younger participants are accompanied by an adult.

Minimum Registrations: To hold a class, we require a minimum of 6 registrations. If we cancel a class due to minimal registrations, we will contact you within 48 hours of the class and work to either reschedule or offer you a 100% refund.

Maximum Registrations: 8 is a full class. If the class is full, please email us at hello@shoplavie.co to be added to a wait list. 

Cancellation/Rescheduling Details: All sales are final.  If something comes up, you may reschedule for another lesson or transfer to a friend.  If cancellation due to weather, we will reschedule.
