Hey good buddy! Have you got your ears on? In true trucker fashion, we are excited to throw the hammer down and offer you a Trucker Hat Bar on our skateboard (front deck) complete with pizza, beer and wine!
The Trucker Hat originated in the 1960s in the US. Initially, these hats were promotional items distributed by farming and feed companies to truck drivers and agricultural workers. Valued for their practical design, they offered ventilation during long, hot working hours, making them a staple among rural workers.
This functional accessory began transitioning into mainstream fashion in the early 2000s when celebrities and fashion influencers adopted the trucker hat as a statement piece. The fashion world bridged the gap between utility and trendiness by embracing the trucker hat, showcasing the trucker hat’s versatility and appeal beyond its original context.
So, grab your girlfriends and join us for a fun night on the deck (if weather cooperates)! We promise it will be a party!
What We Will Make:
Women will get to choose from 1 Foam Trucker Hat (from a handful of colors). We have two options for registration with the opportunity to add extra patches day of the event for an additional (approximately) $3 - $5 per patch.
- Option A: 1 hat with 1 patch (plus option to add more patches)
- Option B: 1 hat with 3 patches (plus the option to add more patches)

Day and Time of Event: Wednesday, July 16th, 6:00 - 8:00 pm
$35 and $45 Registration Fees include all supplies, instruction, beverages and pizza.
Instructor-Led Party by Debbie Staedt, owner of Happy Everything MN. Debbie is awesome and so much fun!!
Hosted at La Vie Est Belle. If weather cooperates, we may be on the deck. If rain or heat, we will plan to host the party in our back event or gathering space. Please dress accordingly.
Minimum Age to Participate: Ages 21 and up welcome.

Minimum Registrations: To hold event, we require a minimum of 6 registrations. If we cancel due to minimal registrations, we will contact you within 48 hours of the class and work to either reschedule or offer you a 100% refund.
Maximum Registrations: 10 is a full class. If the class is full, please email us at hello@shoplavie.co to be added to a wait list. We may explore adding additional seats to this class or we will happily explore opening another class.
Cancellation/Rescheduling Details: Up to one week prior to event: 90% refund for cancellation (or) reschedule for no additional fee. Less than one week we are unable to provide a refund for cancellation due to the nature of the class and materials already purchased. If cancellation due to weather, we will reschedule.
