06/11/26 Pasta La Vista - Homemade Pasta and Marinara Class/Dinner

Ever wanted to make fresh, homemade pasta from scratch? In this hands-on class, you’ll learn just how simple, and incredibly delicious, it can be to create your own pasta at home.

We’ll walk through the basics, including the tools you can use (from simple to more advanced), different methods, and tips for getting that perfect texture. Then it’s your turn to get your hands in the dough and try it yourself!

At the end of the evening, we’ll gather on the deck (weather permitting) to enjoy a fresh bowl of pasta together, topped with seasonal favorites like fresh basil, cherry tomatoes, olive oil, and herbs—simple ingredients that let your pasta shine.

Drinks and dessert are included, so you can relax and enjoy the full experience with other lovely friends, family and community members. 

You’ll also head home with recipe cards and plenty of inspiration for your own future pasta nights!

Event is June 11th (Thursday) 6:00 - 8:00 pm at our Lake Elmo store. Class will be hosted in our adorable and cozy event or gathering space in the back and/or our front deck (weather permitting).  Please dress accordingly.

This is an instructor-led class with Jenn Jacobsen, owner of Beautiful Blessed Living LLC.

Jenn is passionate about creating meaningful, hands-on experiences that bring people together. With a love for simple, from-scratch cooking and gathering around the table, she’s excited to share practical skills and help others feel confident recreating these moments at home.

$60 Registration Fee:  Registration fee helps cover all materials/supplies along with instructor’s time.  Includes handcrafted desserts and wine provided by the only Master of Wine in the state of MN, Ashley Hausman Lohmer, owner of So What Wine or Lake Elmo favorite woman-owned, Village Wine and Spirits.

Minimum Age to Participate: Ages 12 and up welcome. We kindly ask that younger participants are accompanied by an adult.

Minimum Registrations: To hold a class, we require a minimum of 6 registrations. If we cancel a class due to minimal registrations, we will contact you within 48 hours of the class and work to either reschedule or offer you a 100% refund.

Maximum Registrations: 8 is a full class. If the class is full, please email us at hello@shoplavie.co to be added to a wait list. 

Cancellation/Rescheduling Details: All sales are final.  If something comes up, you may reschedule for another lesson or transfer to a friend.  If cancellation due to weather, we will reschedule.
