04/09/25 Spring Candle-Making Class with Kirsten Long (Nordic Scents)

Unleash your creativity and join us for a fun evening of creating your own 7.5 oz natural soy candle with local candle maker Nordic Scents. Make it a mother/daughter night…or friends…sisters…neighbors…family…

You'll get the opportunity to choose from a selection of beautiful, handcrafted signature scents (including our own popular La Vie Est Belle scent!) by local candlemaker (Kirsten Long) to create your own lovely candle. In addition, you will learn about the basics of candle making and ways to optimize your candle burn time.

After pouring your candle, it will take 1-1.5 hours for the wax to harden. This will be a great time to enjoy great conversation, beverages, dessert, shop, and learn a little bit more about candles!

Please note, for the strongest scent, your candle will need to cure 1-2 weeks prior to lighting it.

This is an instructor-led class by Kirsten Long, Owner of Nordic Scents Candles. Hosted by La Vie Est Belle.

Event is Wednesday (April 9th), 6 - 8 pm at the store.

$50 Registration Fee includes all candle-making supplies for one 7.5 oz candle, instruction, dessert, and drinks.

Minimum Age to Participate: Ages 12 and up welcome. We kindly ask that younger participants are accompanied by an adult.

Minimum Registrations: To hold event, we require a minimum of 6 registrations. If we cancel due to minimal registrations, we will contact you within 48 hours of the class and work to either reschedule or offer you a 100% refund.

Cancellation/Rescheduling Details: Up to one week prior to event: 90% refund for cancellation (or) reschedule for no additional fee. Less than one week we are unable to provide a refund for cancellation due to the nature of the class and materials already purchased. If cancellation due to weather, we will reschedule.

Dessert and drinks (wine, pop and water) provided.  Beverages provided by Village Wine & Spirits.
