Whether you are new to natural beauty and home products or are simply curious about sustainable products you can make in your home, please join us for a two-hour class to explore making beautiful products at home using essential oils, locally sourced beeswax, and ingredients you may already have in your pantry.

In this course we will cover the basics of blending your own essential oils, the differences between fragrance and essential oils, making sure usage rates are safe for whatever product you are making, as well as taking natural ingredients you likely have in your home or community to make beautiful, sustainable apothecary products that make great gifts for you or for those you love.  We will also discuss the different properties of common essential oils.

What We Will Make:

  • Rose Coconut Milk Bath – soothing pink Himalayan salt and powdered coconut scented with floral essential oils to create a luxurious and relaxing bath.
  • Beeswax Based Lotion Bar – Locally sourced beeswax, coconut oil and shea butter bar that is great for travel and activated by the heat of your body to dissolve into your skin and scented with rose fragrance.
  • Congestion Relieving Chest Rub – Locally sourced beeswax, coconut oil and olive oil chest rub with menthol, eucalyptus, peppermint and pine to relieve congestion and comfort you when you are not feeling well.
  • Floral Room & Linen Spray – fresh and floral spray that can be used to scent your room or freshen your linens and is surprisingly easy to make.
  • Orange & Spearmint Foot Fizzy – fizzing sachet scented with peppermint to soothe tired feet and awaken the senses.
  • Lavender & Lemon Honey Scrub – sugar scrub scented with lavender and lemon to exfoliate dry skin.
  • And More!

This workshop is perfect for beginners, and anyone interested in sustainable, toxin-free living. Come ready to get creative and leave with new skills for a healthier lifestyle!  Grab a girlfriend or family member and make it a Galentine's treat!
